This delicious Ethiopian coffee is part of the Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union (SCFCU), which was founded in 2001 to represent coffee producing cooperatives located throughout the Sidama region in Southern Ethiopia.
This coffee is naturally processed, meaning it is hand sorted to remove any unripe fruit, then dried in the sun for 14-28 days. The coffee cherries are constantly monitored and rotated in the sugar-rich environment to prevent the growth of molds or undesirable bacteria.
